I'm pretty sure this deal used to be $100 when you spend $400.

I just purchased a pair of 305s no problem, I've got a set of 235/30/18s in my cart and I'm $2.50 short of the $450 threshold. This was never a problem before.

Any recommendations to hit the $450 mark? I tired donating a few $$ to Ronald McDonald House on the checkout page but that didn't work (it didn't effect the required total).

Are you talking NT01s? I don't think that those are available in 235/30-18s.

I've always heard you can throw in a couple of valve stems to meet the minimum order for this deal.

I too remember the deal being $100 off when you spend $400. The deal was you could double dip, order $800 worth of stuff, pay $600. Now it appears order $900 worth of stuff, pay $700. Depending on the tires, this may have soured a bit compared to the $160 in rebates the store usually runs around major US holidays.

But didn't that require their CC?

You're right. I meant 235/40/18. I did reach out and ask Discount Tire Direct to help me out and price a pair @ $250 for me to let me use the promo. We'll see how they respond. Thinking about this, I should have added not bundled pairs, but 2 singles of each size, then checkout with 1 305 and 1 235 in my cart which would have met the min $450 requirement to use the promo 2x.

Edit: I bit the bullet and added $12 worth of valve stems to get the $100 off. A new set of NT01s for under $900 delivered still rocks.

i've never used the code but could you order 235 and 305 in two orders? I.e. (235 + 305)times 2

Yes you can as long as each order totals at least $450, I order fronts and rears separately every time this comes up to save the $200 on a set

I might have misread your original email, to clarify, I think each order needs to be same size, i.e. 2, 235/40/18 on one order and then 2 305/35/18 on the second order
