I'm pretty sure this deal used to be $100 when you spend $400.
I just purchased a pair of 305s no problem, I've got a set of 235/30/18s in my cart and I'm $2.50 short of the $450 threshold. This was never a problem before.
Any recommendations to hit the $450 mark? I tired donating a few $$ to Ronald McDonald House on the checkout page but that didn't work (it didn't effect the required total).

I too remember the deal being $100 off when you spend $400. The deal was you could double dip, order $800 worth of stuff, pay $600. Now it appears order $900 worth of stuff, pay $700. Depending on the tires, this may have soured a bit compared to the $160 in rebates the store usually runs around major US holidays.

Edit: I bit the bullet and added $12 worth of valve stems to get the $100 off. A new set of NT01s for under $900 delivered still rocks.

I might have misread your original email, to clarify, I think each order needs to be same size, i.e. 2, 235/40/18 on one order and then 2 305/35/18 on the second order
