Unless you are set on Trailex you can buy an ATC or Intech for that amount and have a trailer you can actually stand up in and have a huge escape door. On top of that they would be new instead of used.

Yes.. I contacted him. A little out of my budget. Trying to keep it at low $14 k range. Is that realistic ?
Realistically, how much the unusual sold for a used 2007 trailex enclosed. ? Please advise.

For some, the larger front doors and increased ceiling height options are a real plus (or a requirement). These are expensive options and so is the optional forward and floor storage. Your new build price will depend on those options. Mine was $23k new in 2014.

Used Trailex Enclosed
I have a black one coming available. Getting VA Inspection right now. 2004. New harness, new battery, new breakaway switch, 4 new LED fender running lights, 5 new tires (4 + spare). Located just outside DC.

The door is pretty big on a Trailex.
If you can find a used one for 12K, awesome deal. Watch for abused stuff from the north. While they are aluminum, the running gear (brakes, axles) and bolts are steel/iron. I spent 2K rejuvenating a used one I bought from a forum member. Ask for pics of the underside, brake drums, etc. beyond that, you should see these on planet of the apes. They are very well built.

That is about 660lb tongue weight with a set of Hoosiers/wheels on the rack. I go for max tongue weight - seems the most stable.

All steel/iron metal bits will get surface rust, not a problem
- its when the rust hinders the mechanical workings you have to worry about.
