Mine had no working brakes because the insane rust had seized the inner workings of the drums and the rear bearings were essentially fragments on two of the wheels. This applies to any trailer, no matter how fancy. If you put a lot of miles on the trailer then perform maintenance more often, there is no easy way out for the lazy. Mine was in such bad shape I would question buying anything from the person again.

All steel/iron metal bits will get surface rust, not a problem
- its when the rust hinders the mechanical workings you have to worry about.
Great info for me to look for when buy a use one.
With that said, I am still looking..Thanks for everyone input.

Smile Enterprise Commercial Division

Enterprise Commercial Division: They rent diesel trucks big enough to tow a 20' to 24' trailer. This way you can get the trailer you want with minimal compromises.

Here is a SoCal Example..a 3/4 ton truck:
3/4 Ton Pickup Truck
RAM 2500 CREW CAB OR SIMILAR
$59.99 USD/Day

The Total Estimated Charge includes 1,100 miles free for the selected rental period, and you will be charged $ 0.29 USD for each additional mile. 1,100 Free miles/Rental Period plus 0.29 per additional mile.

Contact rental branch for more details. An additional charge for towing may apply I don't know this cost.
