Chris, enjoyed the videos; especially the first laps of the enduro. Did the 914 driver not give you room?
Looked like good side-by-side racing to me.

The 4" blower moves a LOT of air and I'm actually going to add a removable elbow on it to point at me when it's not raining. Pulling fresh air from the outside and pointing it at me should keep the cab a lot cooler. I could actually feel the air deflecting off the windshield and hitting me.

going to have to give that a try. second sprint I could only see the small section of windshield I could reach with my glove.

Ditto. By the end of lap 2, I was hunting for clear patches of windshield to look for all the carnage on track! Tires, cars, suspension bits, etc.... Blue Sprint 2 was a little wild!

Yep....we tried Fog X for sprint 1. That lasted for the formation lap. I immediately pulled into pits after that as I considered myself to be a danger to other drivers.

Sprint 2 we tried brake clean and a towel in the hand of the driver. Brake clean was no better than Fog X. Towel was better than nothing, but risk was still too high and I pulled in during the extended double yellow.

Sunday warm up - Edg Gel shaving cream - worked wonders!!!! Needed to be reapplied after that session for qualifying but was definitely the winner.

I passed him on T7 but then he jumped inside on T8 over the red paint and I had to avoid by steering hard left which you can see at the 4 minute mark. My frustration was that I was watching P1 driving off in the distance while I'm wearing down my tires racing against an out-of-class driver.

The 914 wound up slowing down P1 in T1 and T2 the next lap which allowed me to catch up so it worked out.

Smart I wonder if Mueller uses them re lower pad consumption.

You guys should come to Sonoma race - no track record there yet and Foley is going to let me use his car for it

That would be fun but will be traveling to Watkins Glen for the race the following weekend. Should have over 30 SPBs there...

Good luck.
