Solid driving right there!!!

I mounted it with a tie wrap around the backside of the side mirror to pull fresh air from the outside and the mirror helped make sure it didn't pull in any water from spray. Not a permanent solution but worked well for the weekend.
The 4" blower moves a LOT of air and I'm actually going to add a removable elbow on it to point at me when it's not raining. Pulling fresh air from the outside and pointing it at me should keep the cab a lot cooler. I could actually feel the air deflecting off the windshield and hitting me.

Ditto. By the end of lap 2, I was hunting for clear patches of windshield to look for all the carnage on track! Tires, cars, suspension bits, etc.... Blue Sprint 2 was a little wild!

Yep....we tried Fog X for sprint 1. That lasted for the formation lap. I immediately pulled into pits after that as I considered myself to be a danger to other drivers.
Sprint 2 we tried brake clean and a towel in the hand of the driver. Brake clean was no better than Fog X. Towel was better than nothing, but risk was still too high and I pulled in during the extended double yellow.
Sunday warm up - Edg Gel shaving cream - worked wonders!!!! Needed to be reapplied after that session for qualifying but was definitely the winner.

The 914 wound up slowing down P1 in T1 and T2 the next lap which allowed me to catch up so it worked out.

You guys should come to Sonoma race - no track record there yet and Foley is going to let me use his car for it
