Mid Ohio Club Race May 5 to 7
Did I hear that the 944 Fest is coming?
The Mid Ohio Region Porsche Club of America (MORPCA) is excited to announce its 2017 Driver Education Schedule. MORPCA's High Performance Driving Education (HPDE) events are open to both non members and to most road worthy automobiles, not exclusive to just PCA members or Porsche models. So come join in the fun!
Fri Lapping Day / Sat-Sun HPDE &
3-day PCA Club Race
May 5/7
Mid Ohio Sports Car Course
Spring won’t get here fast enough! Start it off with this 3-day combo event with a fully instructed Sat/Sun HPDE to include all experience levels. Friday Lapping day is for advanced solo students (I/A/B)
1st timers / beginners are welcome for Saturday and Sunday!
Registration for Mid-Ohio can be found on-line and is ready for you to sign up:
www.clubregistration.net
This 3-day combo Lapping Day/HPDE is running in concert with our annual MORPCA run PCA Club Race. Nothing matches the excitement in the paddock during Club Race. Join in the festivities and drive Mid-Ohio in May. Sign up early to save and lock in your spot, as spots are limited owing to PCA Club Race track usage schedule.

For the folks driving the DE - please remember your car will need to have numbers on it

IMO, 70 minutes does not an enduro make. I love this track and MORPCA puts on a good event except each year it is becoming less and less a club race weekend.

Until the Mid Ohio race returns to its old full glory (sold out), we have to share the weekend with the DE.

I hear you, John. But like last year, I'm sure this deal with the 70 min Enduro was struck to accommodate Sunday morning Enduros. I think 70 minutes is still a good race and, for me, better than a later afternoon 90. It will probably be snowing anyway.

To Jack's point, club racers sign up for this event. You will not regret it as Mid-O is one of the premier tracks in NA - okay so some of the bathrooms are sub-par but the track is awesome.

....but it's going to be 60 tomorrow and 70 Sunday. Never know what you're going to get this time of year but hoping for the best for the club race.

Same in Buffalo right now.....that pic reminds me of the time years ago when we had a flash snowstorm at Mid-O on the Sunday and I drove back to Buffalo on my nearly bald street tires. What is normally about a 4-hour trip turned out to be close to 8 as it snowed all the way home--from Cleveland east it was a blizzard! Never done anything that scary on a racetrack......
