No, it is a three day event, with the Friday being the 1/2 day, so you would have 2 1/2 days - hopefully that brings the buzz back!

you mentioned summit point, to me, I'd only travel there if it's for summit point main. in fact, I live 90 min from there and I won't bother unless it's main. don't get me wrong, I really like main and have about 40 days there, but I won't bother for jefferson and shenandoah. Just my 2 cents if you are traveling far.

also, I like multiple days on a new track if I can get it. HOD runs a 3 day event at watkins each October. great event. I love that they allow passing up the esses in the upper groups. good times.

yes, I did say esses, not A$$es

Thanks for the tip on Summit cre8. I knew there were mixed reviews on Summit, but didn't know what was good and what wasn't.

Agree with cre8fun^

I've been to Summit Main and it's a lot of fun. Been there two years in a row and I'll definitely return. They do get a fair number of deer on the track and I've read that the owners are taking measures (fencing?) to attempt to address it. I was there mid-Oct this year and never saw a single deer but I'm not sure why (whether there is new fencing or if the deer were otherwise engaged that weekend)

I would not drive Jefferson again. IMO dangerous and not enjoyable.

Haven't driven Shenandoah. Have read mixed reviews.

I also recommend the Glen, Mosport and Tremblant.
I belong to Niagara PCA and plan on all 3 WGI events this season.
BMW clubs also frequent these tracks--GVC for the Glen, Trillium (S.Ontario BMW club) for Mosport, and Boston BMWCCA for Tremblant.
Pitt Race is a lot of fun and on the way for you probably.

All good advice. Been running Summit Main since 1987 and it's awesome. FAST!

Multiple days, FTW/

just for perspective, I've heard people on the net talk of deer at summit. that said, I've done 40 or so days there, never seen one or heard of one while there.

UPDATE
Thanks for all your advice guys. Our Bucket List group is registered for Niagara event at WGI at end of May and plan to sign up for the NY Metro event there the following two days. We've also registered for the UCR event at Mosport the next weekend.

Turns out the lapping session at Mosport on Friday afternoon is only for UCR members. Guess we'll have to live with only 6 out of 7 days on track!

Another surprise is that UCR only allows Porsches at their DEs. I've done probably 40 DEs with a host of PCA regions over the years and have never run into that requirement before. A few of our group (including me) have M3 track cars. I can take my GT4, but others are not so fortunate. Maybe this is common in other areas... has anyone else run into this Porsche-only rule?

That's odd with Ucr. Last time I attended one of their events it had a corvettes, bmws, and jdm cars. Maybe they make exceptions for instructors. I know cvr typically is Porsche only as well.

Sounds like an epic week. I plan on attending the June Ucr event as well maybe I'll see if I can swing the multiple trip.

UCR definitely allows other cars. I'm not sure what the process is, but it can be done. We had a friend there with his M3 for an event. You need to be a PCA member of course.

I think it may be more the exception than the rule these days--I drive a Mini and run with many PCA regions at WGI and Mid-O.

FYI:
CVR events are Porsche only (99.9% of the time), no Cayennes or Macans....not so sure about Panameras
