Default REDUCED: FS 01 Boxster S Race Car Stock F & NASA GTS2/3 $34,900

The Silver Bullet is up for sale! $34,900. It’s been a great car, set track records at Daytona and has multiple podiums. Right after I purchased it, Porsche of Asheville rebuilt the engine and it’s been strong since. I have more details, leakdown, actual number of races (maybe 6 or 7 race weekends?) to put up tomorrow. Most of that info is at work. Has fresh bumper and hood. Most of you may remember I tried to have it repaired at a shop down in Florida and retrieved it after months of waiting. I sent it straight to Porsche of Asheville for repair and thorough analysis from bumper to bumper. Autometrics and Porsche are the only ones to work on the car since I’ve had it and Patrick from Porsche took care of the car when I raced. I believe Deman actually did the original build. The car is ready to win races. For now:
01’ Boxster S suited for Stock F in PCA or GTS2 in NASA (restrictor added for NASA)
250 RWHP
Fabspeed headers and custom exhaust
Shifter Riser
Cup Car Shifter Cables
Wiring and plumbing for Coolshirt (Box not included)
Wiring for duel camera Traqmate
Vertex Radio setup..barely used
Recaro XL Seat
Tow hooks
Moton Clubsport Suspension
CCW lightweight rims
Fire Suppression System
Window Brackets for windows while transporting
Spares include:
Additional set of CCW’s
Stock rims with rains
Spare throttle body
Spare control arm
Restrictor for to reduce HP to 210 approx.
Passenger side lexan window..legal for GTS2 in NASA
Heavier springs (I liked softer ones for this car)
Lightweight CF passenger seat (not certified)

The car has a few imperfections from racing. Left rear quarter panel is dented thanks to a pro driver/coach (which I won’t mention his name ) that took it for a few laps. Small hole in top of fabric on driver’s seat. Paint scuffs on the bottom of the rear bumper and the normal racecar scratches here and there. There are four holes in the rear decklid where I attached a rear spoiler, which are covered with the black stripes. The windshield is cracked at the bottom thanks to a rock that barely missed the tearoffs..go figure. It does not impair vision and is legal for race inspections. That’s about it. It is really a lot of car for the money.

I have many more pics and details available. Just ask!

For races I did 3 with NASA and 3 with PCA since I purchased and rebuilt the engine. I did a another partial race with PCA at Sebring, but very limited time as the car didn't show up until that Saturday. That's it for races. Did a DE weekend coaching my wife at Roebling. Have the logbooks that go with the car.

Spent almost $13k on the engine rebuild with Porsche. Have all receipts for purchaser.

Here is the compression leak down test. Very strong engine. Has not been driven since the test. This was actually performed 2 months ago.

Hmm...that's kindof a tough question Rick. I would really rather not say. But, I will tell you why I would rather not say.

I bought the car on faith, sight unseen other than pictures. It was a VERY basic build (not even a fire system which I would not run without) and the engine had some issues upon unloading at Autometrics. Subsequently, the engine blew without getting through one race weekend. Needless to say, I wasn't a happy camper. But, my bad..should have done my due diligence. What's done is done..no hard feelings.

I poured lots of dollars and time transforming this car into a goodlooking, capable race car. Heck, it still had the AC in it when I bought it. After set up, adding new stuff and development, it turned out to be a fast Stock F car and a fast GTS2 car with the restrictor. Porsche of Asheville even sprung for the $1500 professional decal job that's on it. They wouldn't do that unless they knew it was a car that can run up front. The races that I did run were all podium finishes and I would always tag them in social media, etc. They are an aweseome dealership.

I simply don't have time to race right now, unfortunately. Since the engine rebuild, the car has a little less than 2000 miles on it. Someone will get a great car to race with. If I still have it and I have the time, I will certainly get it out for PCA exercise...love this stuff.

With a little fuel onboard, coolshirt box full, etc, I'm about 3030-3040 with me in it, which is right where I wanted to be for Stock F (3004 is target weight with driver).

I would figure that the car without me would weigh 2790-2800. But, there is plenty of room to lighten the car if desired. There is a lot of room to take more weight out of the doors, etc. For the classes I ran, I just didn't need it..a good weight without a huge fear of being underweight and the car was fast after development.

Thanks!
