Don't get me wrong- I love VIR and that's a great race. But last year, I did Mosport instead of VIR and I was NOT disappointed. I'm doing the same this year too.

Monticello is a 1.5 hour ride where I can pull my own trailer so it saves me a lot of $$$.

Also, as a member I am hoping for a little home field advantage! I needs the points!

true and i agree. but mosport is the same distance for me as glen and Monticello.

Mosport is a great track for MENS

and it gives you the chance to see what the Canadians frenchies do at their track.

For Laguna Seca, the SCCA calendar lists July 28-30. I talked to the PCA rep for GGR last weekend and he's starting the discussion with them to try to get a run group with them again next year.

For Sears Point/Sonoma, if you have a NASA license, you can always come out and run with PRC. We have a Porsche only run group. Ya, it's not a PCA race, but Sears Point is the best track on the west coast - much more fun and harder to drive than Laguna.

Let's try to coordinate everyone for SPC as much as possible.

Here's my list...

Road Atlanta
Mid-O
Watkins Glen
VIR
Mosport
NJMP
Road America
You NEED to find a way to make it to Sebring and LRP one year. You won't be sorry.

Folks, consider PIRC, the old Beaverun outside of Pittsburgh in October. All negative remnants of the Beav have been washed away. The South track was new last year. The existing North track is currently undergoing a down to dirt repave (no more bumps on the back straight). The new owners have spared no expense and the facility is top notch--paved paddock, new buildings, garages, etc...The full track is great fun, a mix of momentum and power.
