Bleakest it has ever looked. Events to the end of 2017. There are user warnings not to buy gas there anymore due to contamination from the bottom of the tanks.

for all of the tanks or specific ones? this was the only ethanol free place I could find!!

Froyd said they were still filling tanks. Did that warning about the fuel come from Joey or is it just a rumor, like the bathrooms not working (which still are working)?

There is a sign on the door to the media room that says the gas contains 10% Ethanol. Yes, the bathrooms are working, but there are porta-johns everywhere.

The rumor has a very good source, order of magnitude better than say the Washington Poo. I'll send it privately, but you know who it is.

Some Buc-ee's have no ethanol options. The pumps at the location on 290 nearest Highway 6 has that (although it was not working a few weeks ago when I tried to buy some).

I guess Rick sent out an email that is saying the 2.9 mile config might be done after August. Anyone else hear this?

Yes. This is a possibility, but only a possibility. It also might be completely open until December.

Dang NASA is supposed to go back in Oct, when they went last time there was no 93 to buy, only race gas. I just go down the street 2 miles to the Exxon.

Unfortunately track temperatures at TWS in July and August approach 130 to 140 F according to my digital thermometer, not good for engine cooling, hp, tires etc.

All in all this time of year at TWS is hard on you and everything else.

Out of curiosity why would they close down the back part of the track? The front straight is what has me concerned, what with the bleachers collapsing.

Perhaps because turn 6 is owned by someone else and they may want it.
