I would add one additional comment to the excellent advice previously offered in the thread and that is when looking for DE days next year consider signing up for as many Car Control clinics as you can. Nothing beats pushing the limits of grip in the safe environment of a skid pad plus you learn quickly to look ahead, have fast hands, be progressive on throttle and brake, and it can even teach "in a spin, both feet in"!

You'd need an additional logger that accepted an RPM signal for that...

This camera is a Road hawk, I just purchased from Matt R.
It has speedo integrated.
It is a good unit for my budget this year.
I hope to be able to get a data logger of some kind for next year.
