Default TQuip sub bar mounting question

Getting ready to do a few DE's in my 6 GT3, so will be using 6 point harnesses.
My car has the TQuip "roll bar" and euro GT3 seats with the appropriate slots.

I am going to use TQuip sub bars. P/N 99652193390
Their design seems to put the sub belt attachment in front of the seat slot.
I've only had experience with sub belts that position the sub belt attachment behind the seat slot.

Is having the the sub belt attachment in front of the seat slot appropriate?

Thanks

Craig

optimal position would be directly below the seat slot. How far in front is it?

based on that picture it looks like "in front" would not be acceptable
