Trucks at CTMP today

Rubbin's racing, but I think this takes it a little too far.

that was insane, was watching i live, unreal.

GuyIncognito 09-04-2016 10:52 PM

two thoughts:

- NASCAR's wet dream is a wrecked car in victory lane.

- don't take your helmet off before the fight.

pontifex4 09-04-2016 11:56 PM

Similar to what happened there a couple of years ago in the trucks race. We were on top of turn 2 for the finish and just saw it on the video screens, but P1 and P2 swapped places, as did P3 and P4 from contact in turn 10.

That driving was a disgrace. Any serious race series would pull his ticket but I bet they will not do a thing.

The brawl at the end was icing on the cake

There was one of those at the last one, too. Apparently, it was broken up by Mounties. Really.

mglobe 09-05-2016 09:41 AM

I went to a fight the other day and a truck race broke out.

DTMiller 09-05-2016 01:48 PM

If the "winner" isn't DQed that's some solid bull****. Many many noncombatants were placed in danger by that move.

Sterling Doc 09-05-2016 03:11 PM

No part of "racing" decided that race, other than maybe picking the contestants when the bell rung. NASCAR is part WWF, part cage match, part demolition derby. Not much racecraft left any longer.

MUSSBERGER 09-05-2016 04:28 PM

Just happened to see it too. Kids a punk.

Agree 100%.

Pathetic. Both of those arseholes should have been escorted off the premises and banned for life.

Yes

Other than the tackle, what did Custer do? Honestly interested. Disclaimer, only watched the last lap.

Well, there was the tackle.
And both of these morons tried to push the other into the wall.
Disgraceful through and through.

Normally I will watch any race at WGI, Mosport, or Mid-O as those are the tracks I frequently drive.

But I won't watch those guys.

As an aside, it was cool, if not a bit eerie, driving the Glen today after all the excitement there over the weekend....track area was almost quiet in comparison. Not so for the town--still jumping with cars bumper-to-bumper all day!

I have no idea how "winner" wasn't DQ'd and at the very least handed a fine/suspension followed by probation period. Pathetic driving.

And while not very professional, I think the tackle was well-justified.

Didn't watch the race but did see "the tackle"; looks like somebody the Bills could use :roflmao:

That's exactly how I feel. If someone just drove me into a wall for a quarter mile I might be a little pissed too.

Especially since if he won, he qualified for the chase, and the other guy was already qualified.

DTMiller 09-07-2016 06:06 PM

So no penalties all around. So officially the clown college circuit.
