It was the Scott Dixon show today. Beautiful late summer weather. Here are some pics from my old Kodak digital cam:
1. Up the S's.
2. Coming out of T1.
3. The inner loop.
4. Down the chute into T6.

And they ran the Ferrari club DE on the same weekend. The star of that show was the 333SP, its V12 screams to 12,000rpms. And for pushrod V8 lovers, there was a DP car:

I have never liked PT but his line that the only ride Marco Andretti was getting was with Uber was hilarious.
What a clinic by Dixon. I think he is one of the best in the world, drives all kinds of stuff, fast, smart and wins.

PT is who Indy needs in the booth for every race. He's someone who knows the ins / outs better than anyone, and not afraid to say anything.
Dario should be the on air lead for the Indy 500.
Carson retired from Road America, he would be great on air with those guys. The stories and history in that mans head....wish he would write a book.

True, likely related to ambient temps. It was much cooler in Friday practice versus Saturday qualifying. Dixon's 1:22.5xx might hold for a while. An upstate NY winter freeze/thaw and one year older pavement might slow them all down next Labor Day.....
