Vision, line perception, linking, rhythm, reading the surface, grip, using the terrain to create speed, releasing the ski [car] from the arc, maintaining momentum, avoiding scrub, corner entry speed, equipment alignment, etc... I could go on ad nauseum... all very similar stuff

I used to come up to Mosport in the '70s to watch the races and Ludwig during his heyday--it's great to see him still bombing around the track as he was y-day during our event.

He's a character for sure. Nobody alive has as many laps at Mosport. These days he seems to enjoy mainly driving on the grass - any space between the walls is still "the line".

May be true, Matt, but wherever it is he goes, he goes fast!

He's also a bit less "crusty" than in years past........
