Voting for Vettel for the first time.
Qualifying dry/wet/dry was probably the best of the year. Really cool to see the times come down as the track dried out and the pole position change many times in the final seconds.
On another note, the FIA is putting all the driver's safety at risk with this stupid curbing. Was it 4 or 5 suspension failures in one day? Kvyat almost flipped his car because of suspension failure. I know they want them to respect the track limits but you do that with a penalty, not with breaking the car!

I hope his car holds out. He's notoriously hard to pass, which is going to back the field up and could create quite a race!

Rosberg is lucky to have walked away with 12 points. He could easily have thrown those away as well. He had the inside line, he could have still won that race or at worst conceded the race and only given up 7 points versus the 13 that he did. But it sure looked like he wanted to collide with the Hamsandwich.
BTW ... no way he would have won, but did anyone see the sniper who took out Vettel's tire? Hell of a shot. LOL

I love the fact that Nico gave it to the Hamster the same way he got it at Montreal. I don't like that he said Lewis turned down on me. Those guys don't know how to race each other!
Way to go Wehrlein! What an incredible result for Manor.
Max bests his teammate again. I guess those doubters have left the forum.
Poor Seb. Not a great way to celebrate your birthday.

Independent of who caused the collision, Hamilton appears to have passed Nico under yellow (look at the lights and flags). The yellow was not for their incident, but for Perez up ahead.
Cheers,

Nico had to try and stay ahead of Lewis if not for psychological reasons.... that being said, he could have rounded off that corner better instead of going straight into Lewis' radiator side pod. Don't blame Nico for the move, it just didn't work out for him.
Great race all around!

Toto Wolff lying again....
Mercedes boss Toto Wolff described as "brainless" the collision between Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg on the final lap of the Austrian Grand Prix.
Hamilton was hunting down Rosberg for the lead when the German made a mistake at Turn 1, giving Hamilton a run at his team-mate on the approach to Turn 2.
At Turn 2, the pair touched, with Rosberg sustaining front wing damage and dropping to fourth, as Hamilton went on to win the race.
Wolff claims both drivers were marginal on brake wear at the time, as Rosberg encountered a brake-by-wire failure on the final lap.
"Brainless," a terse Wolff told Sky Sports when asked for his opinion.
"We were marginal on brakes, if not to say completely over the brakes, but we couldn't tell the drivers. Nico had a brake-by-wire failure onto the last straight and defended very hard.
"To see both cars colliding is upsetting."
Rosberg is under investigation following the incident.

shouldn't matter either way, Rosberg was a disabled car unable to maintain pace.
