Two thumbs up for Peter's comments. DO NOT try something because others say they can do it. As you do more track driving you will see that some of what you hear is BS. Sometimes it is good info and you use it as a goal as you progress. One of the Pro drivers I worked with (from Europe) asked another Pro on our Daytona 24 team if he could go thru the corner "Flat". The answer was "YES, but....you will not make the next turn". Drive safe!

If you approach the tire limits with the correct timing and amplitude of control inputs, even high-performance DOT tires can do MUCH more than you think they are capable of.
