IMSA race at LRP in July
Looking to attend the race but have not been here for a spectator event before. There are parking and activity options for Porsche Corral, Mazda Corral or just general infield parking. Any recommendations or experiences to share?

LRP is a fun track for spectating in my opinion. I've been to the IMSA race several times over the years, and it's fun to watch. LRP is pretty easy to get around, and you can walk through pretty much the entire infield to watch at different spots on the track in a relatively short span of time. The hill over the esses is a great spot since it overlooks almost half the track. I like no-name straight and the uphill/chicane too. And since space is tight, you can walk around the paddock where all the pro teams will be parked and gawk at the cars before/after the race. Have fun!

LRP is awesome to spectate at. Plenty of parking.
Remember, there is no grandstand at LRP - you bring your own chair or sit on the grass.
You can walk around just about everywhere including the infield and see the teams working on their cars.

Do Porsche Corral parking--good location and less chance of having a Suburban park on top of you.
Wear a hat.
Bring sunscreen.
Bring a blanket or lightweight chair to sit on.
Wear comfortable shoes.
Check out the teams in the paddock and the vendors up by the chalets.
Have fun!
