PCA ClubRace @ Laguna Seca Wait List?
PCA club race @ Laguna Seca in July shows 84 signed up with 30 of those wait-listed and showing "pending". Does anyone know if there is a car limit for this event and if so, what is it? When I signed up it didn't say anything about being on a wait-list....

One run group which I think has a 45 or 50 car limit
Pending means your qualifications under review (all are pending now)
Wait list means you didn't make the cut off for the max registration count

Bummer. My friend Brandon is on the wait list. Any chance the region will consider adding another run group to accommodate the high level of interest?
30 waitlist drivers x $500 each seems like a pretty compelling reason to me

Last year the limit was 50 cars, and I don't believe the track has changed anything. I asked the GGR registrar if there was any chance of buying an additional run group and was told it isn't likely (as mentioned it's an SCCA event where PCA buys a run group).
I stupidly went to my normal Monday evening wine tasting and didn't think it would be a big deal that I didn't register until 9 pm instead of 7 pm. My mistake means I'm wait listed too (I think is was #63). damn, damn and damn. I was planning to celebrate my 60th Bday at the event. I can only hope 13 guys drop out.

Well Damn.... I was afraid of that.... Well there is always the POC event in August only that's at a cup car killing 92db... I hope they get enough entries to break even.

We always do well at Laguna thank you very much and we've always run at their mandated 92 db. Registration's open if you want to sign up:

[QUOTE=400hp944;13358221]I absolutely will John! I have gone to Laguna with the POC for the past 8 years or so. I just don't remember it being as low as 92db and I know we had at least 1 trip that was unlimited sound.[/QUOTE
You're right, we ran unlimited (or 105db) with Pirelli Cup a few years back but all the POC run event going back 14 years have been at 92db. They only give the 103 weekends to SCCA as they provide them with all their event workers.
Their unlimited sound weekends go to pro events or manufacturer test days....

John: You kicked my butt at Fontana, I'd love the opportunity to at least try and make it close at a course I know a little better. Better yet, come to Sears Point. That track I know well.

I'm happy that I got in- was sitting online when it opened. Hope you get in, Tom- as well as the many GT cars on the wait list. I'll see you next weekend at Sear's Point?
Looking forward to running with the West Coast crew.

Paul: I'll be at SP next weekend. Will you be there for Friday testing too? I assume you will be with the Rothsport guys? I'll be with the Jerry Woods (JWE) group.
