Wow, that blowed up real good! The slo-mo gives a pretty good look at the rotor design inside the roots blower

Def a plus on the safety gear. Drag racing is heavily regulated on the safety side. There are some they dislike the regs, but it saves lives and surely did here. Scary stuff.

Three Wheelin'
Float an intake valve & the spark follows the fuel back to the blower= big combustion chamber. Funny cars are scary, at least the dragsters have a metal surround on the roll bar to deflect the parts.
