Apologies if this is a dumb question, but why can't you buy it now and put it in Spec Cayman if you end up going that route? You can take it out of GT3 then transfer to Spec Cayman, no?

Not dumb at all: If I go the SPC route I will likely put the GT3 back into street form (I was very careful not to cut or damage anything), which is why I do not want to make holes in the front 'firewall' for the hoses. Yes, if there's a will there's a way, I just don't have that much 'will' right now.

I have not decided yet if I want to go SPC, but it is lonely in 'K'.

Yes, I could also buy and resell if I don't use it but, being in Canada, transaction cost is high enough that this would eliminate any savings from the purchase at sale pricing.
