PFC 11 compound installed but sqealing badly?
Gave these pads a try because I read here they were quiet. Mine are sqealing like pigs in a slaughter house.
Did I do something wrong?

Rotors are very new and have only one track event on them with previous pads.
I have not run the PFCs at the track yet.

I used to drive PFCs (01, 06, 08) on the street and track. They are pretty quiet at the track, but on the street sometimes I would sound like an old dump truck pulling up to the 4 way stop.
You don't buy PFC track pads because they are quiet on the street...

Recently installed PFC-11s on my Cayman R. They seem quieter than the Pagid RS29s I was previously using. PFC web site recommends bedding by performing 6 to 10 "snubs" per lap for 1 or 2 laps. (I had not heard the term "snub" before.) Anyway, in a safe area, I did about 10 medium hard applications of brakes - not complete stops- to get some heat into the pads then let them cool. First session on track took it easy for a few laps and then progressively drove them harder. Seemed to work well and not too noisy on the street.

yes, you bring them up slow and then hit them hard. repeated stops on the empty hyway's near you .. OR a couple of medium speed laps and then a cool down lap and then they should be ready to go. squealing should go away permanently.

I use them exclusively now. great pads, but proper bed in is a must.
are you going to try and do this on the street or on the track.
I have a great method for the street that is not dangerous and does a better job than just 80mph to 40mph repeatedly.
