Default Ride along at Paul Ricard in the #77 Dempsey Proton Porsche 991 RSR!

Here's a couple laps while I was learning the track during the ELMS Prologue. The car is amazing.. still need to find more speed, but making progress!

ps: Jet lag is a serious MF'er when it comes to driving.

the ULTIMATE track in my opinion.. thought you were at the Ring on that one straight! 6th gear! terminal velocity???? and a NICE turn at the end to not have to burn up the car

Life clearly sucks for you dude! :-) Nice going for early days in the car. Agree on this as being a great track in my opinion.

Jeez, Mike. Every time I think I'm living the dream, you've gotta go and one up me times 10,000!

Best of luck to you!

Thanks everyone! It's a lot of fun to drive.

Compared to the other GT cars I've driven -- the brake feel is excellent and the mechanical grip is fantastic. The straights feel very long, like the car needs another 100hp or so.. but I think that's down to the restrictors and all the aero the car runs.

It's probably the most sensitive car to changes in setup and track/weather conditions than any other car I've driven (GT or Prototype). It feels like a proper race car versus the GT3 spec and Cup cars that still feel like gutted street cars.

I think it's going to be a really fun car to race, but the overlap with the LMP3 cars is pretty bad. There's going to be a lot of contact between the classes... incidental and on purpose.

Wait a minute. We have George Dyer on the forum?!

Not sure if this has already happened in some other thread, but for those who may not know, George raced RSRs in IMSA back in the 70s, winning at Daytona and Sebring amongst others. Cool!

I'd pick a GT car every time over an LMP3 car...

Good luck!
