Horrible but sobering reminder of why Nomex in a race car, any car on track is so important..

Here's another one ...

My car ... faulty OPRV , it blew the seal out of the oil filter and six liters of oil onto the header, the flames were coming out through the firewall and floor !

Good thing for Sparco Nomex and a 4L SpaSense fire suppression system with one nozzle directly on the oil filter ,one on the fuel pressure regulator and two in the car !
My car would have burned to the ground otherwise !

The paint on the right hand side quarter panel bubbled from the heat...
