Default Recommendation for through-wheel tie downs?

Plan to tie the GT4 down in the enclosed trailer with through-wheel straps that will connect to my ratchet straps and the in-floor D-rings.

Any current suggestions for straps and vendors?

Chris--

Not sure who manufactures for them, but I bought mine directly from Trailex. Solid construction and easy to use....never bind up, in my experience.

+1 Fast service and they will make custom lengths and configurations for you too. The ratcheting mechanism is so smooth and easy to use.

I have the set from apexperformance and like it a lot. I also deleted the front straps on my ratchet with these

I added through the wheel straps from them for my fronts but had to get longer ones for the rear due to length - wheel width and tire circumference. You have to make sure that the webbing is long enough. The ones from apexperformance are listed at 36", but that is from tip to tip. That causes issues when you try to hook up. I would recommend that you find some straps where the actual webbing is 36". I got these. A different color also helps which go onto the front and which on the rear.

+ 1 for Apex

Best deal I found for really high quality stuff. I don't have a GT4, but I haven't had any issues with the wheel strap length and I run a 315 section rear tire on an 11" rim ...

1) They come in different length. How long are they?

or

2) You could just run them through the spokes only and run them strictly on one side.

So I thought the thinking was using wheel straps pulled car out of alignment - is this BS? The MAC stuff is great BTW.

It is mostly BS. When you think about the forces on the suspension components during cornering - the impulses of force while at 1G+ and hitting bumps are probably 10x more than the forces from the straps.
