Gents what seat bases, sliders and mounts are you all using to mount seats into a 987.2 cayman? I'm going to swap out my GT3 seats and go with a halo seat ( cobra evolutions ).

I like the concept of the GMG unit a lot, but wish they had not cut 'GMG' in the metal. Note how little material is left between the (strong) angle across the front and the sub mount.

ur queswtion is too open ended. ANY bracket and ANY slider ans ANY seat will work in 987.2 as long as you have a good fabricator. you need to narrow it down a bit

i have used race tech with recaro side mounts
also used recaro pp, profi xl and hans xl with recaro side mounts
oem porsche 996 sliders
recaro sliders
sparco sliders
any of the above combo can be mixed and fitted into
996
997
987
986

not sure this helps your cause. but i my guy was able to get all the above to work in all my cars. so they should all fit

I like the Planted seat bases. My slider is an OMP as that is the seat I have. Planted bases can be purchased from Stable Energies
