Great racing this weekend! I must have watched the P1 cars go through T16,17,18 for an hour in amazement.. still expected them to fly off track in T18 passing GT cars on the outside. In the dark. Two and three at a time. Downforce is a wonderful thing. I know they are slower than the F1 cars, but it's so much more fun watching all the passing and strategy for me. The RSR exhaust note is epic, I want it for my ringtone.

The closing speeds are nuts, I'm very surprised it was a very clean race for 6 hours! Few pics from the weekend..

The PCA tent was packed all weekend. Virtually every PCNA and PMNA dignitary, the safety people, Mobil1 and Michelin repay visited and talked to the crowd. I think every factory driver for Porsche, including Mark Weber came by. The latter presented himself as a real class act. It was a great weekend.

Agree, I was in the platz for a bit too which was cool. I missed Webber though that would have been interesting. Glad they pulled out the P1 win after the heartbreak earlier in GT in the first race!

Great race, not many incidents for a 6 hour race. Weather was perfect, I almost got a bit chilly around the end of the race.

It was a great weekend. Lots of high quality racing, and Porsche's to look at. My first time at COTA and I was impressed. Will be going back for next year.
