Default Need more rear camber on 944. What bushings are worn?

Hi all,

I just had a specialist shop adjust my rear settings after trying for many hours trying to get more than -1.5* rear camber and they came up with the same problem I did- -1.5* max.

I am trying to figure out what is worn out to make it limited on the adjustment. I didn't ask the shop what was wrong with the suspension to have it limited to that. It is a track only 87 924S with hankook ventus slicks 225/50-16 fronts and 245/45-16 rears.

I am trying to start with -3.5* front and -2.5* rear. 450lb front springs 28mm rear torsion and a 225lb shock helper spring.

If it is not a worn bushing - Do people oblong the rear torsion bar aluminum arm mount? Seems that I could move the bolt centerline 3/8" down or rotate it 3/16" each side up and down to help adjust it.

Thanks
Pete

How low is the car at the rockers? They do gain camber as you lower them.

Yeah, that was my thought - probably not nearly low enough. 5" or even lower at the rockers works great...

The car is lowered... I will get an exact measurement later this week since it is loaded already on my trailer for a DE.

Could the upper spring mount be compressed or bad? What if i were to shim it to rotate it down? Or is this uncharted territory.

Thanks
Pete

With the ratchets undone and on the trailer [not exactly level, but close] I have 5.75" in front and 6" in back with only a gallon of gas.

What should it be?

5" all around is safer for the oil pan, but close to 4.5 is fastest, and you will have all the camber you need.

Yeah, definitely 5" or so - but you may want some rake in it...
