Default Arctic Silver 996 vs GT Silver 991

Great weekend at MSR Houston. This is from 3rd session today. Rovman catches me after 5 laps and I try to stay with him.
Conclusion: Silver is the fastest color.
GT silver has the advantage, must be the GT name....

Apologize for the OBD did not connect to Harrys laptimer

A hundred horsepower and technology that is a decade and half more advanced (lets not even talk about DSC/TSC)...?

Yeah, its hard keeping up with the 991GT3s

It was a fun day Tor. Goes to show that the old iron is still VERY potent when driven well....

Yes, great weekend.
My opening post was a little tongue and cheek. I have to add that Rovman in the 991 had a 240lb passenger for this session, Rovman fastest lap was 4 sec faster then my fastest this weekend. Rovman is also faster than I in his 996 GT3 by 2-3 sec.

Hey don't sell yourself short there buddy. After watching you handle the 996 GT3 this weekend I suspect you are a hell of a lot closer to me than 2 to 3 seconds. Awesome driving man. Awesome driving!!!!!!

Blitz,

Was that you in the other silver 996 GT3? If so, great driving as well. Apologies for not introducing myself, didn't know we had other Rennlisters out there.

Next time I will come over to chat.

I apologize for not stopping by.
Did you look into the Joe Toth splitter and are you getting it?

996 GT3 is a real car. There is always someone faster but very few machines are as engaging the 996 GT3
