Our title sponsor Autometrics and Zone 12 of the Porsche Club of America will host the annual PCA Club Race at Daytona October 23-25, 2015 and include a three day Advanced Solo DE.
The DE has been held for the last 6 years in conjunction with our Club Race. The event is NOT limited to just Porsches. Drivers must either be a PCA National Instructor or have achieved Advanced Solo status with their home region and have experience with PCA Expanded Passing (with a point by). If you are unsure if you qualify please contact the event chair. This will not be an instructed event.

There will be up to 7 hours of track time, depending upon whether you select the 2 day or 3 day option. The 2 day registration option is $450.00 and the 3 day option is $500.00. A check of Daytona events, sponsored by other HPDE organizations and clubs indicate this is a real bargain. You be the judge.

You'll also have the opportunity to attend the racers' “chalk talk” given by Cory Friedman of Autometrics on Thursday evening, as an initial exposure to the do’s, don’ts and nuances of driving Daytona (highly recommended, even if you've driven Daytona before). There may also be a “track walk” that same evening.

We recommend that cars be equipped with DOT “R” rated tires. At a minimum you must have tires rated at speeds of 149 or higher (V, W, Y, or Z). Tires must be new or nearly new. We recommend that your car have a 5 point harness and a roll cage/bar and we further recommend the use of a HANS device. Helmet must be at least a Snell SA 2005, or newer. Boxsters and other late model Porsche convertibles (996/997/981/991) may participate with tops up. Cars must have a technical inspection at an approved shop. We also recommend PCA endorsed track insurance (available at www.pcahpdeins.locktonaffinity.com).

Registration is now open on Club Registration.net and additional event information is available there, including event hotel, event options and fees. It's early in the registration process but we are limited to 65 entrants so don't delay.

We are excited to have a new title sponsor for the Zone 12 Daytona Club Race and DE.
Autometrics of Charleston, SC and their three principle officers (Gordon, Cory, and Adam Friedman) have decided to offer their support for the 2015 Daytona Club Race and HPDE. They are one of the top race teams in the southeast and have been instrumental in the growth of our racing events to include both Roebling Road and Daytona.
There remains room in both the Club Race and the HPDE...although there is only room for 20 HPDE drivers left.
