Default Cool Shirt -- Options...

Just raced at NCM last weekend and heat was unbelievable. 95+ Fri, Sat, Sun. Southern guys are probably thinking wimp.

My cool shirt is getting a little beat up so looking for what other options are out there now.

My Cool Shirt comes out in February.

The usual choices are (no particular order):

* Cool Shirt
* FAST
* Momo

Get the 2cool shirt (second generation cool shirt based on an athletic compression shirt rather than original t-shirt). Go one size up from your regular fit. The cooling design is IMHO better than MOMO.

And await Bob's new shirt

Yep

I am in the same boat about replacing mine and I am also looking at whether to go with a compression type wicking fabric base or a nomex base. The second gen stuff has me scratching my head.

I keep thinking about that and it would be great to have it on the back of my neck but my helmet fits pretty tight. Anybody have one of these? Does it bother you?

Joe, I have the Momo shirt..It has been great for our usual Mid-O area hot weather races...Much better than my old cool shirt FWIW.

The Cool Shirt hoodie works well, but you need some room in your helmet. It's a little funky to put on, as it has a head band, but once you get it figured out, it works. The best part is it keeps the back of your neck cool.
