Default GP2 better racing than F1

Just finished watching the GP2 race from Austria that I recorded over the weekend and it WAS AMAZING!! If you like open wheel road course racing, this is a better product than F1. The N/A engines sound great, the racing is close, the pit strategy is diverse and these guys have *****!! The American sensation Alexander Rossi was terrific and is definitely coming to F1 soon.

They only race on F1 weekends in Europe as support races, but it's well worth checking your listings to DVR them.

BTW, MotoGP is fantastic as well and there's a race broadcast this weekend on Fox Sports 1. If you follow this series you'll know that Valentino Rossi is leading by only 1 point, his teammate, who has won the last 4 races in a row is just behind him and the defending 2 time world champion is off the pace with crash after crash. This week he decided to go back to the 2014 chassis and immediately crashed on FP1.... terrific racing all around and many alternatives to F1!

Fully agreed - welcome to 2015 in the times bs F1...the fastest GP2 is faster than Manor GP F1 car - at a fraction of the cost, in addition the GP2 is more difficult to drive vs F1.

The Renault 4.0 V8 is a masterpiece...

Even the NASCAR race at Sonoma on the road course this weekend is more entertaining to watch than F1 this season.

Finally got around to watching the Austrian GP2 race today while on the treadmill. It was a very good race. Rossi did a great job to get as high as he did from his P12 start, but sure ran out of grip 4-5 laps from the end.
