You SLAMMED the door shut. I wasn't sure what kind of driver you were, some guys just give up. After that, I knew I had to work harder! Great move. Good racing. You've done this before.

Actually after that turn, which forced you to lose a few seconds, I told myself that if you caught up again I wasn't going to fight as hard. I knew you were faster, knew you were not in class .... and these cars are too nice to wad up at a club race.

Packing up for the trip to VA tomorrow. Scrambled to order rain tires. Looking forward to running in the Vintage class D.
Will be there for the test day to set up and learn new data system, thanks Peter!

What happened in Sprint 2 of the D, E, SPB group. RM shows they only completed 1 lap and not all cars got 1 lap.

Would love to see this race moved to the fall when temps aren't quite so brutal.

T&S screwy for the Enduros, especially the Black Checker. Fun to watch Cory and particularly Joe Toussaint raise his game, but by and large, it was pretty clean, I suppose...

F, SPB and GT4 were really fun to watch. Scott B represented well in the "Team Obsolete" 996 GTB1 car, which is THE smokin' deal I think, right now. B1 is the arms race, but that's a good car for very reasonable money, IMO.

All in all, hot but fun!

SPB field was pretty decimated by the heat. Yonker had an off. Muller lost his transmission. Mazzola wheel bearings. And I popped the motor in sprint 2, likely a rod bearing. All said it was still great racing.
