Daytona DE
 

This past weekend I ran in the DE 2 group with NASA Southeast at Daytona. The track is a magnificent facility and if any of you every have the opportunity to run there I would highly recommend it. Aside from the actual DE experience, watching the races was a pleasure as everything was open to spectators- the view from the top of the infield control tower was incredible. I have never enjoyed watching NASA racing quite so much. The track itself was, while not the most engaging, definitely exciting to drive- I was doing better than 130mph going into turn 1 by Sunday, speeds I would probably not hit elsewhere. I have yet to do Road Atlanta though.

And this is probably the coolest car that was there...I know, I know, not a p-car. But still! Pretty sure I had never seen a Mosler before but I sure wrung one out in Forza.

I was there the week before with PCA. Always enjoy Daytona! Ovals are kinda freaky at first, then it's just a time to check your gauges in slow cars. Hated missing the NASA!
