When I load A SmartyCam HD movie into SM 2 I don't have the ability to edit it. I'm using firmware 2.03.04. It either says "Lap Times Not Available" or "Whole Session." The car is a 2011 Carrera S, SoloDL and a Can connection. Any help would be appreciated.

I use Quicktime Pro to trim the video from SCHD. Select start point, select end point, trim to selection, then save as new file. It does not re-render the video, so the save is as fast as copying. No change in video and audio quality.

That's a good idea! Last time I bought a license, it was about $30. Pretty good bargain.

After reading this thread last night I upgraded to Quicktime Pro. Trimmed a couple videos in minutes. So much easier and faster than VLC! Trims virtually instantly instead of "recording" the section you want in VLC, which takes as long as the section you want to save takes to play in real time. Great inexpensive tool to trim down AIM videos! Thanks!

Guys, I understand that each of you faced the problem of converting video into the desired format? I have read all of your recommendations but it is all very difficult. Isn't there any application for converting videos to the desired format with a single click?

Why doesn't it exist? There are many such applications

Not rocket science. Sheesh. VLC Player works best for me on Mac OS and Windoze.
