Default Value of a an 08 Trailex Open Alum

What is market for my trailer? Have someone looking to make a trade. It is the CT8045 and it has two diamond plate boxes, tire rack, manual winch, surge brakes, diamond plate floor in the middle, etc. Complete specs attached. Almost 10k when purchased. Thanks in advance!!

Depending on the condition, my guess is between $4500 and $5500.

I paid $ 5500 for 8K worth of Trailex a few years ago. At that time it was about same vintage as yours, very similar specs. These are very desirable and usually go very quickly. I suppose it would be reasonable to start high, maybe 8K and see what happens. GLWS.

Take no less than $6500. You will get more offers than you'd ever imagine.

Cool thanks guys. I was thinking 6-7 with the extras I have on it. Probably used 6 times per year and many of it was towing to Roebling which is 15 minutes from my house.

The low option Trailex trailers tend to not depreciate much from their original purchase price. With a higher optioned Trailex you will take a little bit of a hit. I agree that you should be able to sell it above $6,500.

Thanks Frank. Without freight I have $9400 in it, so it sounds fair. Just like with cars, options don't keep their value well.

Having been in the market a year ago, $6K is the right range for a '08 open Trailex with accessories.

I paid 7K cdn dollars three years ago for a 2010 fully optioned 8045,they do have a better value than the 7541 which have shorter loading ramps and a smaller platform ...

I would agree that 5-6K is fair depending on condition !

Cheers
Phil
