One thing regarding the MXG. It is significantly bigger than the MXL2.
If you are looking at getting one, do a cutout and test fit where you want to put it.
It does not fit in the spot I want it on the current racecar and I have had 2 other customers decide the MXL2 was a better fit for the location they put it.
