Default 911 RSR - Daytona 24 Spoiler Alert

For all those who said the 911 RSR is not competitive anymore should think again. It just won the Daytona 24.

ZAP - Might want to add spoiler alert to title.

I'm just glad Leh's yellow didn't spoil it for the RSR boys. Bit of nail biter at the end.

Nice to see the Mezger put another notch in its block…..

Great race. Bop worked against the LMP2 cars at Daytona vs. the DP prototypes. Will be interesting to see if the LMP2 is more competitive at Sebring.

Great win for the 911 RSR. Not a fan of that livery.

Not too shabby for a 50 year old car with a supposedly inferior layout.

By notch in its block, are you referring to the #911 or the #912?

According to the MRN commentators it's a 911 RS.

Not that I’m in the market, but anyone know if the RSR will be available to privateer teams in the future?

More than likely. ACO rules state that the GTE AM must drive 1 year old cars.

Already is. You just have to hand over a cool €800000, then it's yours to play with...
