Default Speedsouth/Active Power Z06 withnew traction control testing

I thought you guys might like to watch the traction control working (I know it's not a Pcar). It was the first time tested and it is adjustable. Enjoy and Merry Christmas.

PS Dave, this is the same car that was at TWS with Andy Lally clinic.

If you'll excuse the blasphemy, that is a great sounding motor.

Yes but with a twist. The problem was that it will not work with the signal from the wheel spend sensors that the Bosch motorsports abs uses. We went back and forth with Bosch and race logic to no avail. We fixed the problem our self. Race logic wanted us to tell them how we did it with drawings and all, but we declined to give out the fix. It took us a very long time but the system works great.

I remember you guys and that car as well as the yellow one. It definitely left an impression when playing lead-follow with Lally (skip to 1:06):

I saw you guys going into T10 and figured I had until at least T12-T13 but the closing rate forced the pass at the apex of T12. That was cool.

The yellow car is my car and the white car is the one I built for a client. Andy did a 1.41xx in our car and a 1.42xx in the white car. Andy is a great guy too!

That's gotta be good for a couple seconds at TWS, no?

The car has so much tq., if you saw the graph, that it is unusable power. So I think it could dip down into the high 39s at TWS. When Andy Lally drove our car I talked to him after he drove and I told him he wouldn't hurt my feelings that I needed to know what changes need to made to the car. He said and I quote"not a damn thing, new tires the car carves the corners just a new set of tires and the car will easily do 1.38s." I asked him about the white car and said"100 less horse power". So needless to say we were happy with the input from him knowing that the cars are going in the right direction.
