How come there isn't a race Cayman forum?
Although my new Cayman isn't finished yet, I've been poking around the various Cayman forums. Really disappointing compared with the Racing/DE forum (guess I'm spoiled!). I'm just not into the How to polish the exhaust tips threads, although I totally respect them.
I wonder if a Cayman race car forum would help? Sure are a lot of Caymans being built, it seems. A forum kInd of like the spec Boxster or Cup Car forums. Might be helpful.
Or have I been looking in the wrong places?

Have you checked out http://www.planet-9.com/cayman-spec-racing/
Although I wasn't specifically asking about a Rennlist forum, I was partly thinking 'why not on Rennlist?'
Thanks again

In general I've found the Cayman forums (particularly on Rennlist) to be rather quiet. Planet-9 and the Cayman Register both have a lot more traffic than Rennlist, but you make a good point about the racing aspect.

I think that's your answer, I don't think it would be very active here either.
Why split the racing section into a bunch of subforums and have a bunch of redundant, fragmented discussions? The reason people come here is because it's active. The variety keeps it interesting. Why dilute a good thing?

I do like the variety of conversations in this forum though.

Caymans end up in any number of classes depending on how the build is done.
If you build it they will come. Update your build thread here regularly and people will pop their heads out and comment. And not just Cayman guys but interested racers in general.

There used to be much more 987 talk here but it Cayman went.
