With the Meteor Gray the color options have changed, I guess. Maybe silver highlights (wait, that sounds like my hair) or yellow.

I hear ya. However, in persoon, the car pictured (I took the pic at Road America) looked fantastic. Great presence, not over done, very tastefuul.

Leaning toward burnt orange or royal blue, probably hold off on the design (build costs more than expected - bet you never saw that coming)
Whatever you do with the exterior shell, even if you postpone it for later, paint the entire interior, and use a light color. One of those do it while you're in there things, once everything gets bolted in and hooked up you've missed your chance to get it done. A light color makes it so much easier to work on the car with the reflected light, under the dash and in tight spaces, finding loose parts and belt ends. Silver interior is nice. Then just wrap the car. Any color pattern you want when it gets rough wrap it again, if you ding it you don't even have to paint to keep it perfect.

Good advice and very timely. When the donor was going to be silver I didn't need to think about that. Now that it is Meteor Gray (I would call it dark silver) it might need a lighter interior.
Thanks - good thought.
