Michael Stewart, PCA 'racer' hits another car (again!)

Yes, the guy who rear ended me at COTA on the first lap of his first ever race was at it again at Hallett during the Test & Tune prior to the PCA Club Race. He destroyed the left rear quarter of an E class car with his front nose.

I am now aware of him hitting three different cars this year and to the best of my knowledge he has yet to turn a complete lap in a race yet. Wait, that's not true, he also failed to report to the black flag station after he hit me in T12 so I guess he did finish that race. So in addition to not being able to drive he also has not read the rule book yet.

Here is his info and a photo as a warning to everyone to stay clear of this guy on track. If anyone knows him please let him know that I will personally buy him a set of golf clubs if he promises to stay off the track. Clearly other sports beckon.

Oh my :icon501:

I was there.

My first thought first session was something along the lines of "what the hell"; turns out I was not alone thinking this. There was another there who caused the same concerns for many I spoke with.

Some say this about me, but I merely toss empty beer cans in their way.

Holy crap, that is quite a hit.

Another example of why we need to be able to take our passenger seats out, it's obvious that accident could have been avoided if the E car could have seen that he was about to be rammed... :typing:

actually.. that driver's door could easily have been jammed shut and forced the egress out the passenger side.

Plavan 10-14-2013 11:31 AM

Does the 13/13 rule not apply to him?

Gary R. 10-14-2013 11:34 AM

No 13/13 at Test and Tunes.... not clear if the other events (besides Jakermc's) were during PCA CR events.

Plavan 10-14-2013 11:36 AM

Ahhh- Other clubs I have raced with have taken ANY accident into account. Especially Serial Wreckers.

Gary R. 10-14-2013 11:39 AM

Maybe he has break issues, or his horn didn't work*....

Perhaps someone should let the club know it will be difficult to secure coverage if their insurance carrier found out they don't re-educate or remove wreckless drivers.

Not a Cup Car, it's a GT3, and unless the E car was backing up at a high rate of speed, yes.

This happened literally right in front of my eyes. It was horrific to see.

GT3DE 10-14-2013 12:34 PM

Said idiot was at Road America in K class and though the only K car running, he was at least 6 seconds off the pace (in my limited experience K and L cars run same lap times where ever I go - I have both K and L and my own lap times are always same at Sebring, VIR, WGI, Road Atlanta, Road America, SP, NJMP).
This tells me he is slow which usually means either really old or really new to all of this or just a bad driver.
