And he wonders why he gets booed!
This guy Vettel is quite the *******, to say the very least!
Oct.3 (GMM) Nico Rosberg has admitted he took objection in Singapore when world champion Sebastian Vettel suggested his rivals are lazy.
After dominating the floodlit grand prix, German Vettel explained Red Bull's advantage by insisting that while his team works "very hard", the others are "hanging their ***** in the pool very early on Fridays".
It may have been a joke, but Mercedes' Rosberg did not laugh.
"Maybe he shouldn't be thinking about my *****," he is quoted on Thursday by Germany's Auto Motor und Sport.
"It was definitely inappropriate," added Rosberg. "My team works its *** off. And he can't possibly know how much we work compared to them.
"My boys work like crazy."
And as F1 figures puzzle over why Vettel is being booed on post-race podiums, Rosberg said comments like the one made in Singapore do him no favours.
"He is in very clear danger of losing the respect of the other drivers," he said.
McLaren's Jenson Button agrees: "It was a wrong and unfair thing for Sebastian to say."
But Vettel said he found it "strange" that his comment was so controversial.
"It was not my intention to say anything against someone else," he said, "but only to show that our success is no accident."

Oh... He's a STUPID *******... Well thats different...
Its a shame actually. While he may be driving the uber car of F1, there is no denying his incredible talent. And his early days showed a very nice young man who had not (yet) let his success obscure the nice boy and he started from . I know people who knew him in his younger early days and spoke of him with great fondness.
But he is still very, very young. And anyone with children knows how long it takes to mature. It would be a challenge for anyone his age with such massive serial success to remain a charming young man. Then we would be praising his poise.
Instead he is being an *** and too young to understand that people have long memories.

I'm no great fan of Vettel, but when I watched his interview before his guest drive on the BBC's Top Gear it really turned my head around. He was funny and charming. It was a completely delightful interview. I encourage you to watch it before you slam him further.

Some of these over-sensitiive ladies in F1 need to grow thicker skins. Sheesh...

Lol sounds like a line Niki Lauda would have used in the movie Rush

It's true.
Seeing these pussies (who all make $10 million a year or more) get hurt feeling about something someone else said is PATHETIC.
STFU, grow some sack, and drive faster.

He may be talented (he clearly is) and charming as hell. But to deride his opposition like that, at that level of competition? Tasteless and bordering on childish. I'm not a fan.

I wonder if anyone pointed out to Nico his left ear sticks out further than his right. Can't imagine what his reaction to that would be.
Anyway, when I read comments like those, my first thought is always that they are posturing. They are talking up their "boys" (Vettel) or standing up for their "boys" (Rosberg and Button). It's all a big circle jerk. I doubt their boys take any of them seriously...

This shows exactly how deep Vettel is under their skin. I think its great and amusing.
