Vettel is kicking their butts . They cant even keep the guy in sight . So what else are they going to do. Yeah - get mad. He will have yet another WDC in hand in a week or so and they can just get mad.
Some of the complaining and all of that about his winning might be rubbing Vettel raw some too.

My favorite quote from this season is from Paul Hembrey this past weekend (Korea)... After Webber complained about the tires on Sat, and then Alonso did the same Sat night, when asked by a reporter about Alonso's comments, Hembrey said something like 'Vettel figured out how to drive on the tires, maybe he should go ask him' haha

With the exception of a few brief races of false hope, there has been one dominant car going back to Brawn in early 2009 and Red Bull since then. That's 5 seasons of talented drivers having negligible chance to win a WDC, and 4 seasons of Vettel being told he's only winning because of his car. These guys have thick skin, but they are all champions and everyone has their limit. The only surprise in this thread is the suggestion that these drivers could overcome RBR advantage if they just worked harder. The teams could make up the difference, certainly (though I doubt there's been lack of effort), but I don't think any driver ever would have been favored against RBR/Vettel in '11, '12 or '13.

Given the latest developments regarding the suspicion that RBR is using some kind of traction control through clever (as in "illegal") ECU mapping, no amount of "harder work" on behalf of his opponents would ever allow them to catch up.
My opinion of Vettel remains unchanged. He's a brat. A very talented brat, who is driving a car with obvious advantages over his competition. I'm not impressed. Somebody like Alonso, who is able to drive a dog of a car unto the podium, or Kimi, who is able to gain 9-10 spots during a race, impresses me far more. IMHO Vettel's and RBR's championships should have a large asterisk next to them, as they do in baseball with records attained using performance-enhancing drugs.
