FS: 2010 Dodge Viper ACRX
selling a 2010 Dodge Viper ACRX
pretty wicked machine.
they normally will sell for 85 to 95 recently depending on condition.
that car has never been crashedhard, no frame damage, no major whacks, etc. the typical bumper cover stuff but in top shape, and motor/trans have 3 races on them. low hours. leakdown and compression are on the money; very nice car.
asking $85000 with one additional wheelset.
Happy to consider reasonable offers.
PM with any questions.
its also listed on ebay with a low starting price if someone wanted to try their luck there.

If you can introduce us to a buyer, happy to share a reasonable commission with someone for the introduction and help.
its a very cool, good car.

Ah....Some american muscle. Love the sound of the Vipers. What sanctioning bodies have a place for the Viper? Its probably a lot cheaper to run than the Cups, similar to the Camaro's.

Jim's old car. An amazing car . Money was no object with this car and its insanely fast. ACR-X's are my favorite race cars. If I had my wish I would be racing one. Faster then a 997 Cup.

Cost to run is probably 1/4 of a cup car. a cup car transmission is maybe 40grand new, maybe 25k to rebuild. you get 30 hours.
the viper and Camaro share very similar if not exact tremec transmissions. fully prepped race transmissions from Rockland Standard, 100% fresh, no core required....$3200.00 and I think I ran one transmission all year before swapping it out for a $1200 refresh. 3200 new, 1200, 1400buck refreshes.
the motors in the cup are 60k motors, 35k refreshes. Camaro and vipers are like 13k fully race prepped deals. and mainly because the car istn has high rev'ing, and a bigger motor, they don't fail as much as a cup motor might or better stated, they get more hours.
body panels - forget about it. you'd think PMNA panels were made of plutonium. fenders are 200bucks, bumper covers 400. lights are 120.00
tis only after you own a Camaro or viper, etc. that you realize how crazy expensive it is to race a pcar.
at NJMP, the dodge viper turns a 1.22.9ish, 1.23ish WITH the Chicane. that's fast.
we got this car on trade for a car of ours the guy bought. its a great shape, never wrecked. for someone who wants a car that runs at 997 Cup speeds at 1/4 997 costs, stable, reliable, strong power, something different but compliant and very aero....at a great price, here you go.
here's a vid of them whipping around njmp.

Thanks mike. great car. love american muscle.
if anyone has never driven a camaro or viper, and is looking for a fast, strong, great handling, affordable track day or club racer, this is a great candidate.
running costs are cheap. handles like a dream and gobs of power out of the corners. point and shoot.

Owner has reduced price by $10k, to $75000.00 which would make it probably the most affordable real-deal ACRX out there. The car is in mint condition, and will be delivered setup, nut and bolted and ready to go on track.
Compare to others selling for 85 to 95k$ and this monster is a bargain.
