Thanks for the pointer to that thread; although I like the Caymans, I don't pay much attention to the Cayman-specific threads (because of my 993).
This thread started because a friend (this is actually true and not camouflage) is thinking about a track car change and I was wondering whether a Cayman might work for him.
Now, if I had the money and the time, I'd enjoy adding a Cayman to the garage but those days are past for me.

Well, I did start this thread because a friend needed to replace his aging track car. But the investigation caused me to want to move to a Cayman (OK Frank, you know me better than I know myself).
So, my 993 is up for sale. Here is the listing: https://rennlist.com/forums/racing-a...-sale-49k.html
No stories, just a wonderful car.

Rick, I think a chat with Chris R. would certainly be enlightening. I drove his Cayman after he had upgraded the suspension on it and Wow it was amazing. The 993 is an amazing car, we have both had one for over 7 years now, there is nothing wrong with wanting to change it up a bit. Now let me go look at your add Good luck and see you next season at Tremblant!

You should have no problem doing an even swap with a Gen I Cayman plus all of the cooling, oiling and suspension mods, seats, harnesses and roll bar plus some wheels with a set of Hoosiers.
