Default Bondurant At COTA

Received an email this morning from COTA that they have signed an agreement with Bondurant to bring his school to COTA for the low two day price of just under 10k.

Ok so I won't be going but the good news is it Indicates that COTA is still signing contracts with Amatuer racing and training. They also signed an agreement with the SVRA for their nationals in October.

Maybe there will be more openings next year for those that missed the opportunities this year.

For anyone interested the link is http://www.bondurant.com/courses/adv...6af2-246465141

Ten
THOUSAND
dollars.

And no in car instruction.

For that money, you'd be better off doing the PSDS Cup school at Barber...

Sorry to announce that I’m cancelling the rest of the Club Races and DE’s I’d planned for this year to use the money for this Bondurant weekend at COTA. Sure, the $9750 price of admission is approaching my entire annual racing budget, but it does include catered lunches and (I’m hoping) some snacks as well…

Isn't "Instructor ride and drive" in car instruction? Or is it that you can ride with instructors, but they won't ride with you?

They are also providing the car, just don't stuff it into the wall .

Still, it makes the PCA event last May look *cheap*.

I'd much prefer to give my $10,000 to Veloce Raptor for private coaching... a hell of lot more coaching than a two day quickie ( Hmmm that doesn't sound right) :>)

if two days is a quickie for you....

but I agree, $10k is so much better spent elsewhere than a 2 day "driving school", even one at COTA.

Heck the event VR, Globe, and TWS have put together for November is 10% of that and has much more coaching, track time, and fun.

+1. Although TWS is not COTA, the event will be epic and very beneficial.
