They are putting emphasis on 01, 08 and the new 11 and 12 compound. 12 compound is what Ganassi was running on their DP car when they won the Rolex in February. Sorry no descriptions of these compounds yet..... other than they are endurance.
Which compound would be most similar to 97? I love the initial bite and ability to modulate the 97.

Do any of you use a higher friction in the rear (i.e maybe 11) to get a greater rear bias or do you all use the same compound front and back?

What is the difference between 01 and 08 pad? I've been running 01's on my 993 with RS big reds for years and they are just awesome!
Definately not a street pad, too messy and noisy but I swap pads and wheels for street anyway...

Too bad PF doesn't make discs for 993 RS aplication, if they did, I'd be all over them.

Then a question regarding the 01 pads, I recently ordered a new set through a group buy and ended up getting the endurance pads for the front (i.e. they are too thick for my calipers/discs). Can I shave them? Or should I try to return them?
If they can be machined down to correct thickness, I'd rather do that than ship these pads back and forth (they came through a Belgian dealer if I'm not mistaking).

Would you do that on a 911? 06 a bit more friction?

If they shipped the wrong pad they should exchange them. If it's going to be difficult to do that then yes, they can be ground down. PFC is actually doing that on some pads that come in many thicknesses.

Im seeing only a slight , but noticable differnence going to the PFC-01s from the Pagid Blacks. (RS14s)
ive heard that the DCT70s are even better from Hawk.
any experience here?

Im talking about some fade with stoptechST40 size pads with a 3000lb car and near 400hp
only issues are going into 2nd gear turns from 120 to 130mph straights.
