Mark I have some purely educational questions if you don't mind. You add mentions 2 tires blowing out so:
What manufacturer, size, and most important what load rating were they? Also how old....
Anything else that might have contributed to the blowuouts like under or over inflation?
Thanks. There's always info to be learned from incidents, on or off-track....

JR,
I have no idea what the tires were, other than they were very old and I should have replaced them when I had the mechanicals serviced.
We had not done many long hauls and used the trailer mostly for around town. Last year I drove up to VIR in the middle of summer about 4 1/3 hr drive. On the way back it was about 100 degrees.
One tire was definitely over-inflation. My son was with me and he said he put air in one of the tires because it looked low. It was the first to blow. The second came about 2 hours later and it delaminated. I chalk that up to age.
I put new tires on when we returned and have since driven to Daytona and Sebring without issue.
I just bought and enclosed Trailex and the first thing I did was put new tires on it.

OK guys, I cleaned it up this weekend and it looks almost new. I have lights to put on and think I can repair the fenders.
It'll be at the Road Atlanta Race this weekend.
I know there are a couple other ones listed, so make me an offer.
