After discussing with several fabricators and racers, I selected Mike Brink (Brink Racecraft) in Arlington to construct my cage. I want to thank everyone including the vendors who discussed this project with me.

My decision was based mostly on personal references from racers who had mike build a cage and my own observation of Mikes work. I am sure that the other fabricators mentioned in this thread could have done a great job. My decision was also influenced by scheduling. Some of the recommended shops could not fit me in for over a month.

Cost was not a big factor in my decision since the estimates I received were all very similar. Just for everyones info, A base 6 point cage starts at approx. $3000 and goes to the mid $4000 range depending on options.

Brink Racecraft just moved from Irving to Arlington and their shop is amazing. If you are in the Dallas area you should consider them for any fabrication you need.

I will post pics when the cage is finished.

Thanks!

He doesn't show much Road race cars on his site, does he have plenty of RR experience ? Some things are done differently between Road Race and Drag Race for cages. - A cage is not a cage.

^^ Agree %100.

Make sure that they are aware of the rules that are found under the sanctioning body of the organization with who you will race. Each body has its own quirks.
