Blue smoke on start-up. CPO ending.
My 07RS has a CPO that is coming to an end in April. I purchased the car in August last year with 7k on the clock. The PO didn't drive it much so when I first purchased it the smoke at start up I thought was due to lack of driving and I know these engines have a tendancy to burn some oil. I drive the car a good bit (about to turn 9k) and if the car sits for more than a couple days then I still get a good bit of blue smoke upon start up. Is this a sign that the RMS may need replaced?
Also I've read threads in the past where I may have a bit of a fight on my hands w/ a dealer and having this work done under warranty?
Lastly, any last items to have checked on the car since the CPO is close to expiring?
TIA

most likely an air oil separator issue.
if the car doesn't have excessive oil consumption they probably won't do anything about it, and I wouldn't worry about it. my 6-GT3 did the same thing if left sitting for more than a few days.
